Claim Your Listing
If you own a business that has already been included with basic information relating to your company, select upgrade your listing, and this will allow you to update, and put further details on the listing in order to help enhance your presence on the site.
Help on signing up and inputing listing information
Step 1
Select upgrade your listing.
Step 2
Create a username and password for your account, confirm the password along with agreeing to the
terms and conditions of the website.
Step 3
Enter your contact information (this information will not be displayed within the website).
Enter (First name, Last name, Company, Address, Town, County, Postcode, Phone Number, e-mail (this is
the e-mail address all listing/events/promotions/article or classified confirmations will be sent to).
Step 4
Click on claim listing button.
Step 5
You now have the option of which listing product will best suit your business best. Click this link to view further information regarding to the individual listing packages LIST MY BUSINESS.
Showcase Listing £90 for 1 years subscription

Step 6
You will now need to enter your listing information:

Your listing title (ie your business name)

Contact e-mail address for the public to contact your business

A website address if your business has one.

Under Display URL you can show the actual web addres as wording, such as "view our website"

enter contact phone number (if you have two or more numbers, just enter them on the same line).

enter fax number .
-
Complete the listing address if this is different to your contact address that you will have already entered.
Step 7
Upload Image
You can upload an image such as a logo or photo relating to your business. This should be 300 px x 250 px and in a jpg or gif format. (If this is all gobbledegook to you, let us sort it out for you, just email your required picture to us at contactus@disswebsites.com and we will ensure it gets onto your listing).
Step 8
Upload Video Clip
You can also attach video clippets relating to your business within a showcase directory to help promote your business. Video snippet coding is required to input this into the listing, again if you have problems with this just contact us and we will help you input this within your listing.

Step 9
Attach Additonal File/s to Listing
Attach additional advertising documents to your listing, be it brochures, menus, price lists, leaflet advertising, information packs, entry forms. What ever you want to offer for download in pdf format can be placed within your listing.

Listing your information
Summary Information
You now need to enter no more than 250 words that will be seen on the listing searches describing your business and promoting it with as few words as possible.
Detailed Description
This is the main detailed description held within the detailed listing page. You can write as much or as little as you wish about your business. Its your information centre and your business, you know how best to advertise it.
Keyword Search
The directory has an internal search enginge which you can use ten key words that people may use to find the service you offer. For instance a garage may put the following in as keywords, fuel, cars, MOT, car service, Tyre etc, if these are typed in your listing will be shown within that particular search, very much like google.
Hours of Work
Let people know when your open, by detailing your opening times.
Catagories
Finally selecting the catagories within the directory which best apply to your business. Above 5 catagory selections a further £10 cost per catagory will be incurred.
Payment Method
You can either pay by credit card, paypal or Cheque, select the appropriate payment method and click next on the screen.
