As part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages national programme, established local drama group Mere Players present an abridged A Midsummer Night’s Dream in partnership with Diss Academy and The Dirty Duck, an original drama charting the adventures of a young William Shakespeare. An entertaining show for all ages mixing new media techniques with traditional theatre. Shakespeare Sandwich is complemented by an art exhibition in the Old Stables.
