The Spice Cottage was established and opened in April 2008. Since then it has been a very popular and successful place in Diss. We recently celebrated our 1st anniversary after a very impressive year. Spice Cottage is based right in the heart of the centre of Diss, we are situated in the market place which is part of the famous old town and only 10 minutes from the train station. The Spice cottage is within the dolphin house which is one of the oldest buildings in Norfolk. The history of the building stretches back nearly 1800 years.
In our restaurant we have two rooms, one of our rooms we offer parties such as group get togethers, birthday parties, hen parties and leaving parties. We can seat up to 36 people within the party, and we can make your occasion a truly memorable experience.
In our second restaurant area which is more private, there are four dinning areas, all are separate. We have a lovely lounge room in which there is a sofa and television to wait in comfort for all take away orders. Our bar offers a variety of drinks from soft drinks, beer, wine to spirits and tea or coffee.
With our menu we don’t only offer Indian food but Nepalese too, which makes us so unique in Norfolk. The menu, hospitality and service is top quality, yet reasonably priced. We offer meals from mild, medium to spiced hot stuff. Sweet & sour dishes are also served.
Spice cottage offers take aways, you can either call through on either of our numbers stated above, or you can come in, order and enjoy a drink while you wait.

Spice Cottage is one of our many restaurants up and down the country. We have a few in Norfolk as well as south-east London. The family have an experienced background in catering as we have been established for a number of years.
On all our take away orders we offer a bottle of beer or wine if the order is above £30.

Come and try our dishes, enjoy our hospitality and service and let us truly give you more than a meal but an experience you will want to enjoy time after time.
